Head of Service – Private MY | South Pacific
We are seeking for a Head of Service for a private motor yacht. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-run vessel with a great itinerary and a genuinely lovely family.
Requirements:
- Senior Service or Chief Stew position on similar-sized vessels
- Fluent English speaker
- Must complement an active interior team and maintain team dynamic
- Strong leadership and guest service skills
- Confident managing a team of 3–4 in Service
- Comfortable working closely with two experienced Interior Managers
- Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to manage and mentor a small team
- Excellent knowledge of formal service styles (silver service, wine, cocktails, etc.)
- Warm, confident, and professional with guests and fellow crew
- Must be align with the existing interior team dynamic
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine passion for hospitality
- Well-presented, discreet, and proactive

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all aspects of the Service department
- Deliver flawless, guest-focused service to a high standard
- Train and manage a small service team, ensuring smooth daily operations
- Work closely with the Interior Managers to ensure seamless communication across departments
- Oversee table settings, event planning, wine service, and guest preferences
- Maintain service inventory and order supplies as needed
- Uphold cleanliness, presentation, and discretion at all times
