Summary
Bosun – 60m Private/Charter Motor Yacht (OOW Required)
A well-run 60m motor yacht is seeking a Bosun with a valid OOW license. The vessel is primarily used privately, with occasional charter. This summer, the yacht will be in New England, followed by the Caribbean in the winter.
Itinerary:
- Currently in South Florida
- A few owner trips planned before heading North
- Owner-heavy schedule in New England
- Possible 2-week charter
- Returning to South Florida after the season
Crew Structure
- 14 full-time crew
- Deck Team includes: Chief Officer, Bosun, Senior Deckhand, and two Junior Deckhands
- The Bosun and Senior Deckhand are responsible for the 37’ Intrepid towed tender
Candidate Requirements
- OOW license is mandatory (not flexible)
- Experience leading a deck team and training junior crew
- Confident handling a towed tender (launching, towing, general upkeep)
- Ability to maintain deck operations to a high standard
- Charter experience is a plus, but not required
- Open to male or female candidates
- Non-U.S. candidates must have a valid B1/B2 visa
- If currently in the U.S., you must already be stamped in on the B1 (non-negotiable)

Salary: $5,500 DOE
