Overview
A prestigious 180ft Classic Feadship, operating under a primarily private program, is seeking a full-time Deck/Stew to join its professional and well-established crew.
This is a long-term position offering structure, stability, and a supportive team environment.
This role requires a confident and capable tender driver, as you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the yacht’s 40ft tender.
The ideal candidate will be flexible and able to seamlessly assist with both deck and interior operations.
Cabin Share: Female candidates are preferred due to cabin sharing arrangements with another female crew member.
Itinerary
- ~6 months in Florida
- ~3 months in New England
- ~3 months in the Bahamas
- Includes annual yard period in Florida
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain the 40ft tender with confidence and care
- Assist with deck operations: line handling, washdowns, anchoring, water sports, and general upkeep
- Support the interior team with guest service, housekeeping, turn-downs, and laundry
- Ensure a high standard of cleanliness and readiness across all guest and crew areas
- Participate in general maintenance and organizational tasks on board
Requirements
- Proven tender driving experience (40ft preferred)
- Previous Deck/Stew experience on vessels 40m+ a plus
- Versatile, team-oriented, and proactive in both interior and exterior responsibilities
- Comfortable with a flexible, structured private program
- U.S. citizen or green card holder (U.S. flag requirement)
Compensation
- Salary: DOE $5500
- Benefits: Standard package (medical, flights, etc.)
