88ft US-Flagged Private M/Y – Bahamas & U.S. East Coast
This well-run, professionally managed 88ft motor yacht is seeking a full-time Chef to join their crew. The vessel splits its time between the Bahamas and the East Coast of the U.S. throughout the year.
The program offers a healthy, balanced onboard environment with simple, clean cuisine. Guests and crew enjoy the same meals, so a team-oriented approach and consistency in quality is important.
This is a permanent position with full healthcare, benefits, and generous leave.
Start date: Flexible based on candidate availability
Pay: Above industry standard, dependent on experience
Responsibilities
- Plan, provision, and prepare fresh, healthy meals for both guests and crew
- Maintain a clean, well-organized galley with high standards of hygiene and safety
- Work closely with the captain and crew to coordinate service and provisioning
- Manage inventory, food budgets, and storage efficiently
- Adapt menus to accommodate dietary preferences and seasonal availability
- Provide a positive presence onboard and support a collaborative, professional crew culture
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder
- Prior yacht experience required, ideally on vessels of similar size
- Ability to work independently in a solo-chef role
- Professional, flexible, and team-oriented mindset
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
