Job Opportunity: 3rd Engineer - ETO for 70m Private Yacht
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced ETO- 3rd Engineer to join the crew of a 70-meter private yacht for a single season. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a luxury vessel and gain experience in a dynamic, professional environment. AV/IT knowledge is a plus.
Position Details:
- Position: 3rd Engineer - ETO
- Vessel: 70-meter private yacht
- Contract Duration: Single season
- Holiday Allowance: 60 days
- Salary: €5000 per month, depending on experience + training Budget for career progression + 1 return flight
- Current Location: Italy
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the operation, maintenance, and repair of the yacht’s electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems.
- Ensure smooth running of all engineering operations.
- Provide support to the Chief Engineer and 2nd Engineer as required.
- Maintain safety and compliance standards onboard.
- Perform routine checks and monitor the condition of all systems.
- Participate in watchkeeping duties.
Requirements:
- Valid STCW certification.
- ETO/Engineering Officer qualification.
- Previous experience on yachts of similar size is a plus.
- Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work well in a team.
