Deckhand in Bahamas

Summary

We are looking for a Temp Deckhand, we are a private vessel and the owners are on board a lot of the time but fairly relaxed environment.

Tender driving experience is essential for this position, (chase boat and limos) with both jet and stern drives.

The vessel will be cruising around central America this year including Galapagos.

• You must have experience on yachts of 60 meters
• Position: Deckhand (Male only due to cabin arrangements)
• Start Date: 14.01.26 / 2 month Temp contract
• Joining: Dominican Republic
• Salary: 3,500 EUROS
• Itinerary: Caribbean
• Other Info: Fully ISM Vessel / Total Crew 12 / Deck team 3 (Bosun, Lead Deckhand & Deckhand)
• Experience: Expedition yacht or commercial vessels off the beaten track areas.
• Certificate: PLB2 + Yacht rating as a minimum.
• We are looking for someone polite, well mannered and able to adapt to differing situations. There is a tight team on board and a good relationship with all the crew is a must.
• Nationalities onboard: British, Lebanese, Italian, Peruvian

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA Yacht Rating Certificate

RYA Qualifications

• RYA Powerboat Level 2
