Silver Swan is currently looking for an experienced Chef de Partie / Sous Chef who has been formally trained within a busy, high-standard kitchen operation. The main responsibilities that the Chef de Partie / Sous Chef will be expected to fulfil within the role include assisting the head chef in setting up the kitchen, organising storage before VIP client visits, as well as assisting the head chef on a day-to-day basis. The role is for the duration of 23rd of May 2024 - 22nd of August 2024.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for assisting the head chef throughout the temporary period
Able to use initiative when required
Excellent stock management skills
Up-to-date knowledge of food hygiene, health & safety, and current food regulations
To run and supervise any kitchen section to the required standards set by the Head Chef
Ensure all preparation of the designated section is complete and ready for each service
Help with cleaning, reorganising & setting up all required spaces
Organising inventory, as well as disposal, distribution &/or freezing of all food products remaining onsite
Ideal Candidate:
Kitchen-trained, chef de partie level with a restaurant background
Experience working in a kitchen as a chef de partie or sous chef
Comfortable with heavy lifting, packing, and unpacking of crates and palettes pre-visit and during food deliveries
Need to be comfortable doing the chef's job of procurement, ordering, and receiving food during the client visit
Able to listen and take orders
Open-minded and able to receive training from the head chef
EU Passport holders only
Fluent English, as well as knowledge of French required

Package:
Location: Paris, France
Salary: €3000 net per month
Accommodation provided in the form of a shared staff apartment
3 meals per day provided, when guests are in-house
When guests are not in-house, staff will stay in and use their own provided kitchen provided for meals
