Crew Chef position aboard Private 90 M/Y
This is a busy, fast paced, privately operated Superyacht cruising seeking a new Crew Chef to join their Galley Team.
Start Date: April 2024
Itinerary: Mediterranean Sea for the Summer
Package: Competitive Salary paid in Euros, 5:1 rotation
Experience and Attributes Required:
• Minimum of 1 season on board 80m+ Yachts, Cruise or River Ships in similar role Cruise experience would be a bonus
• Assisting with food preparation, maintenance of cleanliness and high standards of hygiene in the galley, mess rooms, pantries and storerooms
• Enthusiasm, willingness to learn and a positive attitude
• Team player
• Attention to detail
• Ability work under pressure and remain calm and courteous at all times
• Fluent English both written and verbal
Qualifications Required:
• STCW (all up-dated)
• Proficiency in Designated Security Duties Certificate
• Seafarer’s Medical Certificate (Minimum 6 months' validity)
• Seaman’s Discharge Book
• Food Safety & Hygiene Level 2
• Ship’s Cook Certificate (preferred)
• Fully COVID vaccinated – 2 plus Booster (per client’s request)
Male only due to cabin arrangements
Non Smokers / No Visible Tattoos
