SHOREBASED seasonal butler position

Family residing in New York is looking for a house manger/ butler

Butler

Driving duties

Taking care of the cars, taking to service as required

Packing and unpacking

Responsible for ensuring the cars are clean personally if and when needed on site

Service for dinner alongside chef, ensuring the kitchen is cleaned after and house closed for the evening

Know how to set up a table both formal & informal service, and ideally knowledge of floral arrangements and decor

House manager

Preparing staff daily and weekly schedules

Monitoring housekeepers daily, morning routines, turn down routines

Knowledge of laundry and delicate materials required

Recruiting staff as needed in house, train staff on cleaning procedures & etiquette

Monitoring inventories and ordering as required

Organizing storages rooms/ areas in the house etc

Keeping detailed accounts (reporting)

Dealing with contractors, plumbers, gardeners electricians etc

Working Schedule

6 days per week, full flexibility needed based around the family needs. 7,000CHF monthly Net

Separate accommodation provided

5 years in a similar environment

English speaking plus a European language

EU or British passport required

Discreet and trustworthy

Good attention to details, flexible

Ability to travel

Very good written and oral communication skills

Excellent work processing IT skills

Clean driving license & checkable references
