Laundry Steward(ess)

Salary : EUR 2000 to EUR 2500+ Per Month

Some yachts have a dedicated laundry person. This person will have superior knowledge and experience of garment care; stain removal, folding and ironing techniques.

Qualifications, training and skills required

  • STCW & PSA
  • ENG 1 Medical
  • Stain removal
  • Garment Care
  • Sewing skills would be a bonus
  • Time management
  • Highly organised
  • A background in hotels, housekeeping, or previous work in hotels, ski chalets or private houses would be advantageous

Extra desired training

  • Housekeeping experience
  • Land based experience in hotels or dry cleaners
