Senior/ Lead ETO

Salary : EUR 6500 to EUR 9000 Per Month

Senior or Lead Electro-Technical Officers (ETOs) are responsible for the overall management and operation of a superyacht’s electrical and AV/IT systems. Working directly with the Chief Engineer and occasionally reporting to the Captain, the Senior ETO oversees the performance, maintenance, and upgrades of all onboard electronics, ensuring uninterrupted service for both technical operations and guest experience.

Senior ETOs are often involved in complex refit projects, supervising contractors, and advising on system specifications during new builds or technology upgrades. The position also includes mentoring junior ETOs and collaborating with bridge and engineering teams to maintain peak operational readiness.

An ideal position for highly experienced marine electronics professionals, this is a leadership role with a strong technical emphasis, suited to those with proven shipboard or shipyard backgrounds and excellent problem-solving capabilities.
