Qualifications, training and skills required
- Relevant maritime certification (MCA/RYA Yacht Master or equivalent)
- Minimum 5+ years professional experience in maritime operations
- Instructor qualification (RYA Instructor, MCA Instructor or equivalent)
- Comprehensive knowledge of maritime regulations and standards
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong organisational and time management capabilities
- Ability to assess student performance and provide constructive feedback
- Experience developing educational materials and lesson plans
- Computer literacy and familiarity with educational technologies
- Patient, approachable teaching style with exceptional interpersonal skills
