Summary
To join a 36m private motor yacht, EDMAR Int. is seeking a permanent Female Sole Chef (due to cabin arrangements with the stewardess). The ideal candidate will prepare balanced meals for both guests and crew, featuring simple Italian cuisine, while accommodating any special dietary requirements.
Tasks & Responsibilities
• Prepare daily meals for guests, including buffet-style lunches and plated dinners.
• Cook lunch and diner for 6 crew
• Plan and prepare healthy, balanced meals, focusing on simple Italian cuisine.
• Conduct food shopping, sourcing, and provisioning of fresh and high-quality ingredients.
• Manage galley operations, including inventory, stock control, cleanliness, hygiene, and kitchen budgeting
• Collaborate closely with the stewardess and crew to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
Conditions & Profile
• Proven experience as a yacht chef or private chef for high-profile families.
• Expertise in Italian cuisine and simple, healthy cooking styles with knowledge of special dietary needs.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment on board.
• Cabin shared with the stewardess.
• Winter base in Monaco, including meal preparation at the owners’ residence when required
• Summer cruises: June to September + weekend trips April to October.
• Experienced yacht or private chef for high-profile families.
• Organized, detail-oriented, professional, and discreet.
• English speaking is mandatory, French is a plus
