Private dual season 40m motor yacht looking for a mate to join in the Caribbean latest mid March.
Vessel will be heading to the Bahamas before end of April before doing a trip in Bahamas and then over to Florida for brief yard period. New England season, Caribbean then 2027 Med season. Experience in these areas essential as you will be leading two deck crew who have not done these areas before. you will be in charge of the deck, ordering, watch schedules, MMV, LSA and FFE checks. Working alongside the captain on drills, passage planning and compliance. It is an officer role with a very hands on approach.
Must fill following criteria:
• B1/B2 in hand
• Previous mate experience
• Large tender driving experience (40ft tender)
• All certs and visas valid
• 3 years minimum in the industry
• Male DTCA
• Yacht master minimum
Candidates in America or Caribbean will be preferred. Middle of March joining date for a brief handover ideally with the present mate as he has been onboard for over two years.
