House Manager Job Description
Marcilly Recruitment’s British UHNW client is seeking an experienced and high performing House Manager to run a stunning high-end private residence in Dubai, as well as overseeing additional lifestyle assets.
Salary: AED 25,000 to AED 35,000
Benefits: bonus, gifting, medical insurance, annual flights, all food provided on site
Hours: 10:00 – 19:00 Monday to Saturday
Location: Dubai, UAE
Start date: ideally ASAP but happy to wait a notice period
This House Manager role requires exceptional attention to detail, strict adherence to established household protocols, and the ability to lead and manage a professional household team. This role will suit an experienced House Manager who has an outstanding work ethic, meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work to an extremely high standard.
House Manager Responsibilities Include:
- Maintain the residence to a very high standard Implement, monitor, and enforce household protocols and procedures
- Proactively anticipate household needs and resolve issues efficiently
- Oversee and manage the household team
- Ensure professionalism, discretion, and consistency across the team
- Maintain accurate inventories of household supplies, equipment, and furnishings
- Monitor usage, budgets, and cost control
- Manage day-to-day operations of the private gym and staff
- Liaise with service providers and contractors as required
- Act as a key point of coordination for the yacht
- Liaise with crew, management companies, and service providers
- Provide seamless daily support to the principals as required
- Handle sensitive matters with absolute confidentiality
- Adapt to changing schedules and requirements with flexibility
House Manager Requirements:
- Must have experience in a similar house manager / supervisor role within the GCC
- Someone who has worked in a private household in Europe or on superyachts
- A kind, caring and empathetic person who can nurture the team and get the best out of them
- A strong communicator with the ability to provide, clear concise direction
- Extremely dedicated and efficient house manager who can adapt to the ever-changing needs of the household.
It is a fairly relaxed household with a family feel. No children or animals. Exacting cleanliness standards and perfect condition of the household required at all times though.
The principals do travel regularly and for extended periods of time in the summer. This will allow for reduced working hours and some extended weekends on a rota basis.
