Quay Group is looking to hire two Recruitment Consultants to join our Quay Crew division. One of these roles would be ideal for an experienced recruiter, the other desk would suit someone with a yachting background, preferably as a deckhand, who is interested in getting into a land-based recruitment/sales role, based in our office in Bournemouth, UK. You’ll manage the full recruitment cycle, build strong client relationships, and deliver exceptional candidates.

What you’ll do:
As a Recruitment Consultant within the Quay Crew division, your primary responsibility will be to manage a yacht crew recruitment desk (we have two desk opportunities available). This includes identifying and building relationships with key clients, understanding their unique staffing needs, and delivering great candidates, quickly.
Your role will involve:
- Managing the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing candidates to successful placements.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with captains and crew.
- Sourcing and recruiting top talent, ensuring they meet the high standards of the superyacht industry.
- Interviewing and verbally reference-checking candidates to guarantee the right fit for our clients.
- Keeping up-to-date with yachting industry trends and expanding your professional network.
- Proactively identifying and engaging with potential clients to expand the desks, utilising our existing yacht contacts as well as identifying new leads.
- You will be required to work in the Bournemouth office in Dorset (hybrid option offered following probation).
What we’re ideally looking for:
- A strong background in recruitment or proven yacht experience (preferably on deck).
- Based in Dorset. The role will be office-based 5 days a week in Bournemouth during probation (hybrid working option with 3 days in the office following probation).
- Good attention to detail to ensure the highest standards of service for both clients and candidates.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and people skills.
- You must be self-motivated, organised, and results-oriented with the ability to thrive in a high-demand, luxury sector.
