Summary
We are seeking a qualified 2nd Engineer for a 56m motor yacht, built in 2019, currently operating in the Caribbean and Bahamas.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Chief Engineer in the maintenance and operation of the vessel’s machinery and systems, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Key duties will include routine inspections, troubleshooting technical issues, and managing the engine room team to maintain optimal performance. Candidates should hold relevant engineering certifications, possess strong technical skills, and have experience in a similar role on a motor yacht or commercial vessel. A commitment to teamwork, safety, and effective communication is essential, as you will work closely with a crew of 12.
