Burgess recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Second Engineer for a 75m+ yacht
We are looking for an experienced and career focused 2nd Engineer to join a prestigious private & charter motor yacht. The ideal candidate will have a background in yachting and be familiar with the demands of working on a similar-sized vessel. This is a great opportunity to learn and develop in a supportive environment.
Requirements & Responsibilities
- III/2 Unlimited
- Could also consider a III/3 with an Approved Engine Manufacturer’s Course
- All certifications up to date
- Strong mechanical experience
- Previous yachting experience on a similar-sized vessel is required.
- Maintenance, and repair of the yacht's engineering systems
- Be hands-on and willing to assist in various areas as needed.
- Maintain yacht to the highest standards, complying with safety regulations.
- Quickly adapt and learn new systems and procedures
- Work closely with the Chief Engineer and other crew to ensure smooth operation
- Electrical Background preferred but not mandator
- B1B2 in hand
Start date: 19 April
Location: TBC/Med, Caribbean Charter Circuit
Salary: EUR 7000-bonus-training budget
