Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sole Chef to join a beautifully run 40m private motor yacht starting ideally 17th March. This is a purely private program with a personable owner who often dines ashore, making the role very manageable compared to charter yachts. The yacht cruises Bahamas, Florida, New England for the summer, Caribbean for the winter, and Mediterranean summer 2027. The owner enjoys a healthy Mediterranean-style diet focused mainly on fresh fish (no red meat, gluten-free, lactose-free) and appreciates variety from Mexican to Thai to French cuisine. The right candidate will be creative, adaptable to last-minute changes, and equally passionate about providing high-quality crew food. 38 days leave and a 1-month bonus upon completion of one year. Candidates must have previous yacht experience, strong healthy cuisine background, B1/B2 visa, and all standard yachting certificates.
