Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Marine Engineer to join our 35m motor yacht based in France for the Mediterranean season.

You will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all mechanical and electrical systems onboard, ensuring safe and efficient operations throughout the yacht’s cruising itinerary. Working with a crew of five, you will manage planned maintenance schedules and respond proactively to technical issues. Strong navigational skills and situational awareness are essential to effectively support bridge operations when required.

This is a seasonal position with the possibility of becoming permanent based on performance. There is also potential for long-term progression to a Captain’s role for the right candidate.

Start: April 1st, 2026 – October 31st, 2026 – seasonal, could become permanent

Package: Salary paid in Euros - DOE

Requirements:

  • STCW (Fully Updated)
  • Seafarer's Medical Certificate valid for a minimum of six months
  • Seaman's discharge book
  • Valid Passport
  • Marine Engine Operator License
  • 500 GT Yachtmaster Certificate
  • Proven experience on similar-sized motor yachts
  • Strong technical knowledge of yacht systems
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to perform under pressure
