Summary
We are seeking a seasonal Sole Chef/Deckhand on board a private co-owned 35m M/Y cruising the Mediterranean.
The right candidate has a minimum of two years’ experience in this position, must be sure that he doesn't get seasick, has energy and can follow the busy rhythm of the yacht, is a great drama-free team player, possesses excellent time management skills, has a 'Can Do' attitude with excellent organizational skills, is self-motivated, with knowledge of all the areas which he must work in (Galley - provisioning and budgeting, hygiene, versatile cuisines with Micheline style plating, all meal preparation for guests and crew / Deck - exterior, lines fenders, tender operations, etc.). European candidates are considered first.
Start: April 1st, 2026 – October 31st,2026 – seasonal, could become permanent
Package: Salary paid in Euros - DOE, Maltese contract
Qualifications Required:
• STCW (Fully Updated) with PDSD
• Seafarer's Medical Certificate valid for a minimum of six months
• Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate L3
• RYA Powerboat Level 2 (advantage)
• Seaman's discharge book
• Valid Passport
