Summary
Seeking an experienced tender operator for two center consoles located in Miami. The vessels are a 50' MTI with (5) 500 hp engines, and a 59' Cigarette with (6) 450hp engines. Boats are registered in the US, so candidate must be US citizen or Green Card holder, and must have experience with larger, fast tenders with multiple engines. The ideal candidate will live in the Miami/ Ft Lauderdale area, have reliable transportation, and speak English as a first language. Boats are based in Miami for winter/spring and then one will support the yacht in the Med for the summer, while the other remains in Miami. Duties include:
- Operating the tender(s) as needed, in a safe, prudent, and professional manner, while promoting a positive and enjoyable experience for the owners and guests.
- Maintain the tenders, and associated equipment, to like-new condition. This will include thorough washing after each voyage, waxing as needed, flushing engines after every voyage, spot-cleaning upholstery, decks, etc. NOTE- washing the vessels is a primarily the duty of the tender driver.
- Take care of routine maintenance and fix any small issues that may arise.
- Responsible for weekly checks of safety gear and equipment.
- Maintain compliance with local and international laws and regulations. This includes registrations, decals, logs, etc. The tenders have both Florida registrations and USCG CODs, both of which need to always be current.
- Recordkeeping and accounting- all purchases and disbursements shall be accounted for. Receipts will be turned in to the yacht on a weekly basis.
- Lias with yacht captain to schedule repairs and maintenance as needed.
