Summary
We are seeking a strong, steady 2nd Engineer to join a 70m private motor yacht
She is meticulously maintained with a stable and well run program -Exceptional longevity within the Engineering department.
The owners are personable and easy going with roughly 120 days of usage per year. Upcoming Itinerary includes USA, UK and Scotland.
The Role
We are looking for a mature, steady candidate
Minimum qualification: Small Vessel EOOW <3000gt/<9000kW CoC
The ideal candidate will:
- Be confident working unsupervised for periods
- Manage and execute planned maintenance independently
- Take responsibility for freshwater systems & inventory
- Bring a particular engineering strength (electrical, AV/IT) that can be leveraged within the team
This role would suit someone from the 50m+ range looking to step up in size, perhaps with a couple of years remaining before completing SV Chief CoC.
Package
- Salary: $7,000–7,500 USD per month
- 2:2 Rotation
- Annual Salary review
- Training allowance: $4,000 per year
- Start: 5th March ASAP
