Summary
We are currently seeking a Temporary Sole Chef to join a 40m Dual Season Private/Charter Motor Yacht.
As the Sole Chef, you will be responsible for creating a diverse range of meals that cater to the tastes of guests while ensuring high standards of food safety and hygiene. Your culinary expertise should encompass various international cuisines and your ability to plan and execute menus tailored to guests' preferences is essential. The ideal candidate must be adaptable, organized, and able to work effectively to ensure the yacht meets its charter commitments.
This is a Temporary role starting the 3rd of March and running to the 10th-15th April. The vessel has a one week Charter in the Bahamas and a Boss thrip before heading back to the Mediterranean. This role could be a rotational role for the right candidate.
Candidate requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sole Chef in a similar environment, preferably on yachts
- Strong culinary background with a focus on international cuisine
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Exceptional menu planning and execution skills
- Ability to adapt to dietary restrictions and preferences of guests
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team
- Male due to cabin arrangements
- Valid STCW and ENG1
- Food Hygiene lvl2 or higher
