Summary

TEMPORARY PART-TIME HOUSEKEEPER REQUIRED FOR HNWI IN MAIDA VALE

 

Location: Maida Vale, London

Contract: Part-Time, Temporary

Salary: £23-£25 per hour (self-employed, ideally)

Status: Live-out

 

Our client is seeking an experienced and organised temp part-time Housekeeper to cover the leave of their permanent housekeeper for a few days in early March. This role would suit a highly organised and self-sufficient individual who is comfortable working independently and taking ownership of day-to-day household standards. The property is a three-bedroom, three-bathroom home, with two bedrooms not always in use.


Responsibilities will include thorough household cleaning, laundry management, and general household organisation, ensuring the home is consistently well presented and running smoothly. Duties will also include helping the chef with serving at the table, clearing the table and fridge organisation, as well as liaising with any contractors and tradesmen.


The ideal candidate will have proven experience working in private households, excellent time management and communication skills, and a discreet, reliable, and detail-oriented approach. The household is environmentally conscious and fragrance-free, so it is essential that the successful candidate is comfortable with this - all appropriate products will be provided.


Working on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 2pm-6pm, they days they require cover for are 2nd March, 4th March, 6th March, 9th March and 11th March. This is a live-out position, offered on a self-employed basis. Though there are no permanent pets in the home, a small dog will occasionally be present.


DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

·       Cleaning including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, changing beds, cleaning bathrooms and kitchen

·       Laundry and wardrobe management, including caring for fine fabrics and ironing

·       General household organisation and tidying

·       Assisting with service & keeping the fridge clean and organised

·       Managing stocks of cleaning products

·       Rubbish and recycling management

·       General errand running

·       Liaising with contractors, suppliers and tradesmen

 

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

·       Prior housekeeping experience within in a private household

·       Fluency in spoken English

·       Eligibility to work in the UK

·       Hardworking and dedicated

·       Team player

·       High attention to detail and exacting standards

·       Able to work independently

·       Trustworthy and reliable

·       Ability to provide two professional, checkable references
