50m Private Yacht looking for a temp Chief Officer to join the team to start 21st March for 7 weeks.
We are currently seeking a confident Chief Officer to join a fantastic private yacht with an exciting itinerary.
The vessel has great welcoming crew and offers a positive, supportive working environment on board. They are looking for a reliable office to slot in easily and run the deck / manage the bridge as well as support the Captain.
This period includes an owner’s trip to a standout cruising destination.
Ideally looking for someone with a diving qualification, advanced PADI Open Water or above would be advantageous.
The yacht will be in Australia so you we will be prioritising crew with an Australian/ New Zealand passport or that hold a Temporary Activity visa (subclass 408).

Required Certificates / Licenses / Visas:
- OOW 3000 minimum, Chief Mate 3000 ideally
- Right to work as yacht crew in Australia
Required Experience:
- Solid bridge navigational watch experience
- Competent managing the bridge and deck team
Salary: $7500 DOE
