Seasonal Chase Boat Captain & Deckhand Couple – Mediterranean Season
We are looking for a Captain and Deckhand couple to run a busy live-aboard chase boat for the Mediterranean season.
This is a great opportunity for a motivated couple who enjoy working closely together as part of a small team. The chase boat operates with two crew (Captain and Deckhand) and works alongside the mothership throughout the season.
Position: Chase Boat Captain & Deckhand
Contract: Seasonal
Location: Mediterranean
Accommodation: Live-aboard on the chase boat
Captain Requirements:
- Yachtmaster Offshore (minimum)
- Previous tender/chase boat driving experience preferred
- Strong engineering knowledge an advantage
- Confident managing the vessel and guest operations
Deckhand Requirements:
- Previous deckhand experience preferred
- Confident handling lines
- Stew experience is a huge advantage as will be in charge of cleaning and maintaining the interior and looking after guests when they are onboard the vessel
- Confident assisting with guest activities and watersports
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Role Overview:
- Safe operation and day-to-day running of the chase boat
- Supporting the mothership with guest transport and activities
- Assisting with watersports and guest trips
- Helping the mothership’s deck team when required during the season
- Maintaining the vessel to a high standard
This position would particularly suit a couple looking to spend the season working together on a dynamic programme.
