An ultra-high-net-worth family based in Manhattan is seeking a highly experienced, detail-oriented Laundress to join their established household team. This is a full-time, live-out position for a candidate who is discreet, organised, and exceptionally knowledgeable in luxury garment care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expert care of luxury wardrobes, couture, delicate fabrics, and bespoke garments
- Washing, hand-washing, stain treatment, pressing, and steaming to the highest standards
- Wardrobe organisation, inventory management, and seasonal wardrobe rotation
- Packing and unpacking for travel with meticulous garment preparation
- Liaising with dry cleaners, tailors, and wardrobe specialists when required
- Maintaining laundry rooms and equipment to impeccable standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience working within UHNW private households or estates
- Extensive knowledge of designer fabrics and specialist garment care
- High level of discretion and professionalism at all times
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a fully staffed household
