About the Role
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced First Mate to join a 36m Support Vessel with a dynamic crew.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Bosun ready to step up, or a First Mate looking to grow further within a professional programme.
The vessel operates with two tenders, and the role requires strong large tender driving experience, solid seamanship, and hands-on leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversight of deck operations
- Management of deck team (6 crew onboard)
- Large tender driving and operations (2 tenders)
- General maintenance and deck organisation
- Bridge support and navigational assistance
- Assisting across departments when required
We are looking for someone who leads by example, works hard, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
Candidate Profile
- Yachtmaster Offshore (minimum)
- 3–4 years industry experience
- Previous management experience (Bosun or First Mate level)
- Strong tender driving background
- Confident, organised and proactive
- Fluent English
- Australian or English nationality preferred
- Positive attitude and team player
