Summary
We are currently seeking a motivated and proactive Deckhand to join the crew of the 50m Motor Yacht.
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in the yachting industry, be active, eager to learn, able to work independently, and take initiative. A strong attitude, willingness to receive feedback, and a hands-on approach are essential.
My Lady is a fantastic vessel for someone looking to further develop their skills in ISM procedures, chart work, and overall deck maintenance, while gaining experience on an adventurous and varied itinerary.
Itinerary
My Lady often operates off the beaten track. Recent cruising has included Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, and the Caribbean.
- UK yard period: late March – end of May
- Summer season: Scandinavia
Position Details
- Start date: 13th March
- Salary: USD 2,750 – 3,500 (dependent on qualifications and experience, TBC)
- Leave: 3 months on / 1 month off rotation
- Boat runs with a Chief officer, Bosun and 2 deckhands
- Male due to cabin arrangements
Here are the qualifications and skills that we are looking for:
• Yacht master or EDH would be an advantage, but a Power Boat Level II (with experience) is a minimum
• Updated STCW 2010
• Proficiency in Designated Security Duties
• Valid ENG 1 – Or Marshall Islands Medical
• Driving Licence
• EU Passport preferred
• Non-Smoker
