Summary

We are currently seeking a Chief Officer/1st Mate for a 50m motor yacht operating in the North Pacific Ocean, based in Mexico. In this permanent position, the successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation of the vessel, managing a crew of nine, and ensuring adherence to maritime regulations. Key duties include navigation, watchkeeping, and the maintenance of equipment and systems onboard. The Chief Officer will work closely with the Captain to plan and execute voyages while upholding high standards of safety and environmental responsibility. Candidates should possess relevant certifications, extensive experience in similar roles, and demonstrated leadership abilities. A proactive mindset and the capability to collaborate effectively within a diverse team are essential for success in this role. This position also offers the opportunity to cover the Captain's duties during their absence, providing a pathway for professional growth within the team.
