Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Chief Officer for a 40m Mangusta 130 private yacht (Monaco flag). This is a permanent position within a professional and dynamic environment.
Key Information:
· Start Date: 1 April 2025 (or earlier)
· Location: Mediterranean Sea (summer and winter), occasional yard periods
· Crew: 8; Guests: Up to 10
· Salary: market competitive
· Contract: permanent Monaco maritime contract
· Employment subject to Monaco Labour Office approval & medical clearance
Candidate Profile:
· European nationalities only (due to flag compliance)
· Min 2-3 years on same yacht with the same Owner
· Languages: fluent English, French/Italian is a plus
· IT skills: good general proficiency, experience with IDEA software and FLY is a plus
· Solid professional references from previous employment
Licences and qualifications:
· Min yacht master 500 mandatory and above preferred
· ECDIS mandatory
· GMDSS mandatory
· AEC
· STCW95 Certificate
· ENG 1 Certificate
· Driving licence
Role & responsibilities:
· Full responsibility for the deck department and all tenders
· Daily coordination with the Bosun to ensure all maintenance is completed to the highest standards
· Ensuring safe, efficient vessel operations at all times
· Overseeing deck crew performance and training
· Maintaining exceptional service standards for guests and owners
