Summary
We are requiring a Chief Engineer to join a private 55m+ Damen support vessel, to a 49m+ motor yacht. The candidate must be available to join the vessel within 1-2 weeks.
The ideal candidate will hold their Y3 minimum, and be an experienced and competent Chief Engineer, ready to join a strong and established engineering department.
We are looking for a candidate who is excited and passionate about the work that they do. An Engineer who likes to mentor others and continue to grow as an engineer themselves. We are seeking a candidate who is always looking to make improvements to the vessel and the department itself, and keeping a continuous high standard of hard work, organization and teamwork.
The guests love to interact with the crew, so we also require an engineer who enjoys engaging in conversation and guest interaction.
The itinerary for the vessel is as follows:
· Currently in Florida and will cross to Europe at the end of March for the Mediterranean season.
· Christmas in St. Barths
· Early 2027 in Baja, Mexico
· Short yard period in Fort Lauderdale
· Back to Europe for the 2028 Mediterranean season
Package
Salary: $10,000-$12,000 DOE
Leave: 120 Days – Can be taken as 2:1, but the first 6 months the engineer must be onboard straight, to gain knowledge of the vessel
Joining Location: Florida
Joining Date: ASAP – March 6
Visas: B1B2, Schengen
