Summary
We are seeking a meticulous and organized Purser to join our team on a 76m vessel based in Singapore for a temporary position. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all financial and administrative operations onboard, including budgeting, accounting, and inventory control. You will oversee crew management, ensuring accurate payroll and documentation, while maintaining compliance with maritime regulations. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will liaise with both crew and shore-based personnel. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, possess excellent organizational abilities, and demonstrate a keen attention to detail. Familiarity with local regulations and a proactive approach to problem-solving are highly desirable. This role requires a dedicated professional who can thrive in a dynamic environment and contribute to the smooth operation of the vessel.
This position is to cover for 2 months while the vessel is in the shipyard, therefore shipyard experience is beneficial. Salary slightly negotiable dependent on experience start date week beginning 24th Feb.
