Summary
We are seeking a Chief Officer to join a 76m motor yacht currently in Singapore in the final stages of a refit. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation and management of the vessel, ensuring compliance with maritime regulations and company policies. Key responsibilities include overseeing deck operations, leading the deck crew, maintaining safety equipment. The Chief Officer will also assist with navigation, watchkeeping duties, and emergency response procedures.
Admin skills, proficiency in safety management systems and excellent communication abilities are essential for this role. The position requires flexibility for worldwide cruising itineraries and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and operational efficiency on board.
Candidates should possess a valid Chief Mate Unlimited certificate and have relevant experience on a similar sized vessel, although strong candidates with OOW unlimited and Chief Mate 3000 certificates will also be considered. Candidates with commercial and/or Polar region experience will have an advantage.
