The Opportunity
A professionally run 55m private motor yacht is seeking a qualified OOW or newly qualified to join as Second Officer. This is an excellent first officer role for someone keen to build solid bridge time and develop their career within a supportive and experienced deck team.
Key Responsibilities
- Bridge watchkeeping Captain
- Passage planning & ECDIS maintenance
- Safety equipment checks and participation in drills
- Support ISM/ISPS documentation as required
- Tender driving and deck operations
- Maintain clean, safe, and professional standards on deck and bridge
Requirements
- OOW (newly qualified welcome)
- Valid ENG1 medical
- STCW certificates in date
- Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
