FIRST MATE REQUIRED FOR A 29m MOTOR YACHT (PRIVATE)
Dates: May – September (Seasonal with the potential to become permanent)
Itinerary: Italy – Sicily
We are looking for a First Mate to join this 29m Ferretti Private Motor Yacht working alongside the captain for the upcoming season.
The role will involve supporting the captain with the safe operation and general running of the vessel, will also support with routine checks and help ensure smooth operations throughout the season.
Responsibilities also include cleaning, wash-down, and detailing of both exterior and interior areas, along with the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of the vessel, equipment, and onboard systems.
The yacht operates as a dayboat with a crew of two (Captain and First Mate). This is a hands-on position within a small team environment, and the successful candidate should be happy to assist with both exterior and light interior tasks as needed.
REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICATION
- STCW/ENG1
- Yacht Master needed
- Ferretti experience advantageous
- Knowledge of Mediterranean cruising, ports, and marinas
- Excellent References needed
- Italian Speaker will be a huge bonus
