We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Chief Engineer to join a 40m new build entering service in summer 2026. This is a key technical leadership role, ideal for someone who values structure, reliability, and long-term yacht stability.
We are looking for a professional with proven experience as Chief Engineer on yachts between 35 and 50 meters. A strong background in new builds or refits is highly preferred, along with a calm, solutions-driven mindset and a high level of safety awareness. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, detail-focused.
In this role, you will take full responsibility for all engineering operations and maintenance on board. Focus on technical systems, logs and procedures, ensuring a smooth transition from the build phase to full operational service. Candidate will be expected to maintain reliability throughout Mediterranean and Red Sea seasons, while supporting overall onboard performance through careful planning, foresight, and a structured approach to technical management.
