Summary
We are looking for a temporary Engineering assistant/dayworker to join us aboard a 75m currently on the hard in La Ciotat, completing a paint job and 10 year survey.
We are looking for someone to fill the role that would normally be filled by an Engineering Dayworker, but due to flag requirements, we need to employ someone with full STCW, ENG1, Schengen visas etc. Please do not apply if you do not hold all valid documentation.
Works are to primarily include cleaning and painting, corrosion treatment, assisting other Engineers, etc. This would be a good position for someone looking to build experience in the ER, but we are only looking for someone with good proven painting experience, familiar with products and processes etc.
Accomodation and meals can be provided if not local to La Ciotat. Day rate to be confirmed. Expected start date ASAP, and likely until the end of May, but on a rolling temporary contract. Strong preference for a candidate already local to SoF, or even better if there is someone already based in La Ciotat that doesn't need accomodating.
