Junior Engineer

You will have a willingness to learn about, and take care of everything from replacing light bulbs, to fixing a broken toaster, to making sure there is enough water in the tanks for the guests and crew to be able to take a shower, basic engine maintenance, to solving any internet and IT problems. There will be lots of cleaning and detailing of the engine room too.

Salary range

EUR 2000 to EUR 2500 Per Month

Qualifications, training and skills required
  • Basic STCW 95 & PSA or PDSD
  • AEC
  • ENG 1 Medical
  • Unlicensed with good transferable skills, i.e. motor mechanic
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to learn
  • Continued learning of on board systems
  • Well presented
Extra desired training
  • Land based mechanical or electrical engineering skills
  • Any prior boating experience
  • Tender driving skills
