Summary
We are looking for a Sole Chef to join the crew of a 45m motor yacht based on the West Coast of the USA. In this permanent position, you will be responsible for preparing meals for the owner and guests, focusing on fresh and seasonal ingredients, particularly seafood. Your duties will include creative menu planning, accommodate dietary preferences, and maintain high cleanliness and organization standards in the galley. Following the trips on the West Coast, the yacht will head to Florida for a 5.5-month yard period and get ready for commercial operations with charters in the Caribbean. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in high-end culinary environments, a passion for using fresh ingredients, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic setting. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to healthy meal preparation and kitchen management are essential. This position is open to first-time chefs with the confidence to meet the needs of the owners and crew.
