Summary
First Mate for a J Class Yacht
Candidates will come from a strong sailing background and passionate about sailing / water sports. Previous J Class experience is not essential but a huge bonus.
Ideally have a range of experience on performance yachts, be organised and capable of leading a deck team with bosun and deckhand. Must be strong watch leader with the the ability to maintain the deck and equipment to the highest level. This includes servicing Harken winches and advanced splicing.
Chase boat experience is a must as we have 38ft chase boat and a 47ft day sailer that we have with us.
Well established, private program with winter in the Caribbean and summer in the USA. You will be taking over from a long standing First Mate.
