Summary
76 m. high profile new build private yacht is looking for a Third Engineer/ETO. The yacht is with hybrid propulsion, so very good technical & electrical knowledge needed. You must be familiar with all aspects of the engineering equipment service and maintenance - HVAC, Hydraulic systems, Tenders, MTU main engines, VOLVO variable speed diesel generators, including very good understanding of battery propulsion and power management, DC switchboard distribution and AC distribution. Part of your responsibility will include watchkeeping, assisting to Second Engineer and Deep Blue planned maintenance system.
Very good knowledge is required of AV/IT systems, Crestron control, Connectivity services – STARTLINK, VSAT, MERIDIAN etc., VMs and servers.
Engine department consists of Chief Engineer, Second engineer and Third Engineers/ETO.
Non-rotational position, single season - salary in Euro 8000 with 60 days leave. Shared cabin with Second Engineer.
