Summary
1st Engineer – Special Purpose Vessel 80M+
Start Date: 20 March - contract 11 weeks. End approx 5th June.
We require an experienced Senior Engineer to join a special purpose vessel, supporting the Chief Engineer and assuming full responsibility for engineering operations in their absence.
Responsibilities
- Supervise engineering staff and manage maintenance via IDEA software
- Maintain engineering logs, inventories, and technical reports
- Ensure compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM, and class regulations
- Lead safety drills and promote a strong onboard safety culture
Requirements
- Second Engineer Officer III/2 (minimum)
- STCW management-level certification
- ENG1 (no limitations)
- Security Awareness
- B1/B2 & C1/D visas
- Welcome cv's with PSV/Oil industry experience
