Summary
A well managed and fairly new 35 Metre is seeking a captain to see the vessel through a potential sale and then take the vessel into a busy charter summer season around Italy and France. There are already several charters booked for the season and the vessel currently has minimal winter maintenance that needs carrying out as she has just com out of warranty. The vessel runs with 7 crew during the season and 5 in the winters as currently a single season vessel. The candidate will need to have a good scheduling ability and excellent crew and guest interaction skills. We are looking for somebody who has held a command on similar size vessels for at least 2 years or we would be open to looking at chief officers from larger vessels who are looking for thier first command.
Must have an MCA Master 500 GT(Y) or the STCW II/2 equivalent and an existing Cayman Island endorsement would be useful. The vessel offers 60 days leave per annum with the package and you will have your own cabin behing the bridge. We are also searching for a chef and second stewardess for the summer season so this position could be open to couples as well but this will be discussed at interview. Start date is fleible but the sooner the better.
