Chase Boat Captain in Bahamas

Summary

Looking for a Chase boat captain/ Bosun for a 41m yacht, currently in the Caribbean, but heading to the States soon. So B1B2 visa in hand is essential, additionally with Schengen too preferably.

The role would suit someone who recently passed their OOW or is close to completing it.

Minimum experience: 3 years on yachts over 40m, of which 1 year was as Bosun.

The role would require you to stand in as Mate for a few months of the year, so we need a mature and proactive individual.

Although the title is as Chase captain, it would be expected that you are involved on the mothership most of the time. 

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
• Drivers License

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RYA Yachtmaster Offshore
• RYA Coastal Skipper
• RYA Yachtmaster Coastal Skipper

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA Approved Engine Course (AEC 1 & 2) Certificate
