Summary
We are looking for a Deck Carpenter to join a 100m Private world cruising MY
The yacht is en route for her 10-year survey, where she will remain through the start of the Mediterranean season with significant works planned. Following the yard period, the yacht will continue Mediterranean cruising.
This is a hands-on role for someone with very strong carpentry skills capable of managing all carpentry requirements onboard independently during the season, while assisting with general deck duties when required.
During the yard period, two experienced carpenter day workers will be onboard to lead projects, allowing the successful candidate time to familiarise themselves with the vessel and systems.
Ideal Candidate Background
- Previous Deck Carpenter role on a similar-sized yacht where all onboard carpentry was managed independently,or
- Strong carpentry background from shipyards, boat builders, or heavy carpentry, with a minimum of 6 months yacht experience
- Must hold recognised carpentry qualifications (NVQ, Apprenticeship, or equivalent)
- Schengen visa in hand or EU passport
