A professionally run 70-metre private motor yacht is seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to join the vessel on a full-time rotational position. This is a senior leadership role suited to a hands-on engineer who values high standards, clear communication, and structured team management.
Minimum 5 years’ yacht experience, with at least 3 years as Chief Engineer
Strong hands-on technical ability across mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
Proven people management and leadership skills - No drama onboard
Comfortable working on a high-use private vessel
Organized, methodical, and confident in documentation and reporting
Professional, approachable, and communicative in style
Safety-focused with a pride in maintaining clean and orderly engineering spaces to Yacht standards that the owner can walk through
Standard package with a performance based bonus with clear KPI's and structured reviews.
Flights and Medical covered as per standard agreement.
Vessel is currently in the Caribbean and will be crossing back to the Mediterranean for the summer season.
