Chase Boat Captain

We are seeking an experienced Chase Boat Captain to take full responsibility for the operation, safety, and presentation of a high-performance chase boat supporting a luxury yacht.
This role suits a confident small-vessel captain who takes pride in their boat handling, guest experience, and independent decision-making on the water.
Key Responsibilities:
- Captain and manage the chase boat at all times, ensuring safe and efficient operations
- Conduct guest transfers, swim trips and water sports support
- Operate independently while maintaining clear communication with the mothership
- Plan and execute daily chase boat operations around weather, traffic, and guest activities
- Maintain the chase boat to an exceptional standard, including daily checks, cleanliness, and basic maintenance
- Carry out routine engine checks, fluid levels, and inspections
- Identify, report, and assist with troubleshooting minor mechanical or engine issues
- Ensure engines, fuel systems, and associated equipment are operated within manufacturer guidelines
- Ensure all safety and engine-related equipment is onboard, operational, and compliant
- Represent the yacht professionally when operating independently
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a chase boat or tender captain
- Strong small-boat handling skills in a variety of conditions
- Practical knowledge of inboard engine systems
- Yacht master offshore Minimum
- Excellent knowledge of COLREGs and maritime safety
- Confident working independently with responsibility for vessel and guests
- Watersports and guest-facing experience preferred
