Sole Chef – Private/Charter 40m M/Y
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and creative Sole Chef to join a beautifully maintained 40m motor yacht that operates predominantly as a private vessel, with limited charter activity. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality cuisine, able to adapt when charter standards are required, and take pride in consistently exceeding guest expectations.
Start date: April – October
Itinerary: Mediterranean
Package: Salary paid in Euros, DOE
Experience / Skills required:
• Proven experience as a Sole Chef on similar-sized yachts or within luxury hospitality
• Culinary degree or equivalent professional training
• Strong knowledge of international cuisine
• Excellent organisation and time-management skills
• Confident working independently while integrating well within a team
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
Qualifications required:
• STCW (fully updated)
• Seafarer’s Medical Certificate
• Food Safety & Hygiene Level 2
• Fluent in English (additional languages an advantage)
• Seaman’s Discharge Book (preferred)
